Step 01

Design & Simulation

Our experienced Team works with your specification or your design. Our powerful algorithms and EM field solver reduce iteration cycles before any material is touched.

  • Your Specification or Your Design
  • Experienced Team Over 200+ years of combined experience
  • Customized software for 3D printed microwave components
Step 02

Polymer 3D-Printing

High-resolution monolithic 3D-Printing produces the polymer body. Complex internal waveguide features are printed as a single monolithic part.

  • Fast and cost effective no tooling required
  • Up to ±20 µm dimensional accuracy
  • Monolithic no split block technology
  • Highly scalable from prototyping and series production
Step 03

Metallization

3D printed polymer body gets fully metallized. Our Golden Devices coating technology enables highest performance with significantly less weight compared to traditional methods.

  • <5 dB/m attenuation @ 75 GHz
  • In-house metallization process
  • Automotive & soldering qualified
  • Robustness according to automotive standards
Step 04

RF Measurement & Verification

Every mmWave component is tested before shipment. Additionally, Golden Devices offers the in-house capabilites to perform environmental tests and CT scans.

  • Up to 300 GHz beam pattern and S-parameters
  • CT scanning for structural integrity
  • Full traceability with every shipment

Benefits of Metallized Polymer Components

01 5x faster to market In-house turnkey solution
02 No split-block design Freedom of design
03 < 5dB/m @ 75GHz Microwave performance
04 Up to 300 GHz Frequency range
05 Environmental Resistance Automotive standards
06 6x lighter Weight reduction
07 No tooling cost Series production and ramp-up
08 100% EOL Testing Quality assurance
